Tattoo Removal
Tattoos have become a very popular way of permanently modifing our appearance, however as time passes we can come to regret the decision. What seemed like a good idea at the time can cause problems in later life.
An unwanted tattoo can create difficulty in social or work environments, and could even cause pyschological distress.
Until now either laser or an abrasive tool has been used to eradicate a tattoo, however both of these proceedures have limitations.
With laser some of the ink colours will not absorb, therefore making the complete removal of tattoos very difficult or impossible.
An abrasive technique can leave the skin permanantly scarred.
FaceTech uses a unique method of tattoo ink extraction, which is designed to completely remove the tattoo ink pigments from your body.
The syestem was develped in Germany with 20 years of research and development, with the support of precision technology.
E-raze uses natural products to help your body reject the tattoo pigment, in the same way your body would naturally expel a splinter.
It is a completly natural procedure and less painful than laser. All the tattoo can be removed, older tattoos may be stubborn due to the depth of the pigment in the skin, but with repeated treatments can still beremoved.
E-raze is effective at removing all colours including red, greens and yellows.
The extraction cream is specifically designed to blend with and capture the original tattoo ink. The cream then forms into a thicker substance, then a scab. As the scab drops off the tattoo pigment is removed with the scab.
The cream is effective on all professional and home made tattoos.
The cream is applied directly into the tattoo via a permanant make-up or tattoo machine. Therefore only a qualified practitioner can perform this proceedurer.
This treatment is safe and suitable for most people, however a thorough consultation and medical questionairre is carried out prior to the treatment.
In order to obtain optimum results only small areas are treated with the e-raze cream. This will reduce the amount of trauma to the skin, thus reducing the risk of scarring.
Following each treatment the area is covered with a non-adherent dressing for approximately 24 hours, or until the cream is fully dried and scabbed. The scab will gradually flake off, which can take up-to 2 weeks.
It is essential the area is not scratched or picked. Once the scab drops off the area will be left quire red until new skin grows.
It is necessaryfor this area to be repaired before it is treated again.
The benefits of this system over other treatments are:
- Less painful
- Less treatment sessions
- No need to avoid sunlight
- Aftercare relatively simple
A patch test is necessary prior to the procedure to ensure there is no allergic reaction to the product.
The number of treatments needed to completly remove a tattoo largely depends on the nature and size of the tattoo. Usually, the older and darker the tattoo more treatments are necessary.
The area undergoing treatment will need a recovery period of six weeks between treatments to ensure healing is complete.
People who have previously undergone lazer treatment may be treated, but they might find that the skin may be left lighter after the eraze treatment.
