Dermal Fillers
Reverse the signs of aging.
There comes a time in everyone’s life when the image in the mirror does not reflect the way you feel inside.
‘Surely my skin cannot be that wrinkled or saggy’.
The effects of modern life can take its toll on our skin, especially in your face.
You do not have to resign yourself to the effects of premature ageing. There are various types of dermal fillers in use today.
At FaceTech we use a variety of products which are specifically designed to replace lost volume, lift facial lines and folds.
Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers
As our skin undergoes the ageing process the underlying tissue that contains collagen, fat, hyaluronic acid and other essential elements are lost. These materials are essential to keep the skin from becoming lined, wrinkled and saggy. Therefore, by replacing the lost tissue with a Dermal Filler, the lines are immediately plumped out, thus giving the appearance of a tighter, fuller and more youthful appearance.
During our younger years Hyaluronic Acid is made in abundance, but as we age Hyaluronic Acid production slows down which contribute to the lines and folds in our skin.
Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers are FaceTech’s choice of product, it is also the UK’s favourite filler. This is because it is a naturally occurring substance, therefore does not need prior testing.
Hyaluronic Acid fillers are more likely to be compatible with our skin and are less likely to cause an allergic reaction. These dermal filler come as a gel form of various thickness, thus enabling the appropriate filler for each area treated.
Dark cirlcle around the eyes (Tear Trough)
Because of the depth of skin, and the delicate nature of the tissue around the eyes a relatively thin gel is required. The gel replaces lost tissue and aids rehydration which reduces the darkness and improves appearance.
However areas around the nose, mouth and chin where there is more soft tissue a much thicker gel is needed to provide the plumpness that has been lost.
All Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers FaceTech use are classed as semi-permanent. This means the fillers will bio-degrade naturally. The effects of the treatment will depend on each individuals lifestyle and structure of their skin.
On average the treatment will normally last between 6 – 9 months.

Lip Enhancement
Full lips constitute a major focal point of overall facial beauty.
Unfortunately due to the effects of ageing our lips become thinner, loose their definition, often with fine lines around the top and bottom lip.
In most cultures these changes are translated as no longer attractive or youthful.
Lips can be re-contoured and plumped to create a more youthful look.
FaceTech use a range of advanced Dermal Fillers specifically designed for lips that remain soft, thus creating luscious lips with a totally natural look.
A topical anaesthetic is used when injecting dermal fillers, or a dental block (Lidocaine) can be used when lips are filled (Lidocaine is used by a dentist).
